Chad Gable is one of the most over Superstars in WWE right now thanks to his compelling storyline in the company but he also happens to share a similar name to Gable Steveson. It appears WWE failed to notice this distinction as they accidentally tagged Chad Gable as Gable Steveson.

We had previously reported that Gable Steveson was released by WWE last month and he would go on to sign with The Buffalo Bills, so it’s confirmed he has absolutely nothing to do with WWE now.

Chad Gable is set to challenge Sami Zayn at Clash at The Castle today for the Intercontinental Champion. Ahead of the show, WWE took to their official Instagram account and showed off the entire card for the event.

However, WWE ended up making one huge blunder as they accidentally tagged Chad Gable as Gable Steveson. Fans in the comments also pointed out this massive blunder on WWE’s part.

This is certainly an unfortunate error considering the fact that Chad Gable has signed a new contract with WWE. Regardless, we certainly hope WWE doesn’t make such a mistake again, since Gable is set for such a huge match at Clash at The Castle on June 15th.
