Sammy Guevara has been a recognizable presence on AEW television since joining in 2019. Alongside his visibility, Guevara has encountered controversy, involving incidents resulting in opponent injuries and a subsequent suspension. Now, details regarding his return to AEW have emerged.

Sammy Guevara was serving a suspension due to his role in a match against Jeff Hardy on February 14th. Thankfully, The Spanish God’s suspension was lifted earlier this month, but he has yet to return to AEW television.

While speaking on Fightful Select’s Q&A podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Sammy Guevara’s AEW return status. It was noted that Guevara will be factored into creative plans soon.

“He’s factored into creative plans pretty soon from what I understand.”

Sammy Guevara also seemingly made it clear he would be going after the TNT Championship. It remains to be seen when Guevara will make his return to AEW television, as fans certainly miss him now.
