Jeff Hardy’s AEW contract was set to expire in June and all signs pointed towards him returning to TNA after he became a free agent. That’s exactly what happened as he returned at Against All Odds this week, and he ended up declaring TNA is his new heaven.
At TNA Against All Odds, Moose successfully defended the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a fierce “broken rules” match against Matt Hardy. Following the match, Moose’s faction, The System, mercilessly attacked Matt Hardy and his wife Reby. Despite efforts by Nic and Ryan Nemeth, along with Joe Hendry, to intervene, they were unable to stop the assault.
In a dramatic twist, Jeff Hardy made a surprise appearance, wielding a steel chair to confront The System. He executed his iconic Swanton Bomb on Moose, shifting the momentum and standing proudly alongside his brother Matt in a victorious moment.
Following the conclusion of Against All Odds, Jeff Hardy had a microphone in hand as he addressed the crowd and stated that hell froze over before declaring that TNA is his new heaven.
”I will say that hell froze over, but Heaven has had it out for me all along and TNA is my new heaven. Thank you.”
We will have to wait and see how The Charismatic Enigma will fare in TNA again now that he is finally back to the promotion after several years. At the very least, fans hope he has a good run this time around.
