Drew McIntyre is set to face the current World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest, at the WWE Clash at the Castle event on June 15th at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. This match is poised to be one of the most significant of his career.
Just hours before the showdown, McIntyre took to his Instagram stories to announce that he had left a special gift for his Scottish fans at the WWE Shop at the venue. Drew showed the gift, revealing it to be an exclusive Clash at the Castle cap signed by him, which he paid for one lucky fan to get.
“I want to say thank you to everybody, infact you all have been at the WWE shop this weekend, I am leaving a little gift here. If you find this hat, it’s paid for, it’s from me, it’s for you.”
Ahead of the event, McIntyre was also seen reconnecting with old friends in Scotland, doing media rounds, and becoming the first active in-ring performer to be inducted into the Scottish Wrestling Hall of Fame.
