Damian Priest won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship by cashing in on Drew McIntyre and he ended up retaining the title at Clash at The Castle thanks to some help from CM Punk. He had an injury scare during the match and now he has revealed his health status.

During the Clash at The Castle Premium Live Event main event match between Damian Priest and Drew McIntyre, there was a spot where Damian Priest tried to perform a high flying move to the outside on McIntyre.

However, Drew McIntyre’s ankle got caught on the rope and he almost fell on his head, as fans were clearly worried. In the end, Priest would win the match after CM Punk interfered and cost McIntyre the match.

While speaking during the post-Clash at The Castle media scrum, Damian Priest was asked about his health status after the injury scare. Priest revealed that his ankle feels like trash right now and stated he has yet to go get a medical evaluation, but is sure he will be ready to go.

”I mean it feels like trash right now. I didn’t even go to medical yet so I could do this and talk to you guys, so you’re welcome. Docs will check it out, I ain’t going anywhere. I was able to beat Drew McIntyre on one foot, so I’m ready to go.”

We will have to wait and see whether Damian Priest suffered any serious damage to his ankle after Clash at The Castle, as it is clear Priest will be a fighting champion no matter what.
