Chad Gable made a notable character change when he turned heel in April, generating excitement among fans for his new trajectory. As speculation swirled about his future with his contract nearing expiration, Gable himself has confirmed signing a new contract with WWE.

Initially, Chad Gable’s contract was set to expire on June 7th. However, on the June 3 episode of WWE Raw, it was announced that Chad Gable would face Sami Zayn at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event, scheduled for June 15.

While speaking to The Gorilla Position, Chad Gable confirmed his decision to extend his contract with WWE. Reflecting on his renewed commitment, Gable expressed satisfaction with the trajectory of his career under the guidance of Triple H.

Gable acknowledged the pivotal role Triple H played in revitalizing his career path. He mentioned how even during his tag team partnership with Otis, he began receiving opportunities for singles matches against some of WWE’s top competitors. This shift marked a turning point for Gable, prompting him to realize that significant changes were underway. According to Gable, Triple H consistently delivered on his commitments, a stark contrast to previous experiences where promises often fell short.

“Yes, I have,” he said when asked if he signed a new contract. “What I’ll say, regarding Hunter [Triple H]. When he got started with us and took over. I think you saw my trajectory change almost immediately. Even when I was in a tag team with Otis, I started getting singles matches with some of our top guys. To me, a light bulb went off, ‘things might be different now,’ and they have been ever since. He’s delivered on everything he’s ever told me. When I first came to him, and me and Otis were floundering and not doing much, he said what he was doing was trying to find consistent places on TV for everybody every week.”

Recalling any skepticism about Triple H’s assurances of securing frequent television exposure for all talents, Gable admitted his doubts were dispelled as the promises were fulfilled. Whether a brief segment or a more substantial role, Gable and Otis found themselves regularly featured and actively engaged in storylines. This reliability and follow-through from Triple H significantly influenced Gable’s decision to continue with WWE.

“Whether it was a little chunk of TV or a big one; everyone should be involved at some point. At the time, I was like, ‘I’ve heard all this before,’ and it gets to you, but I saw it was true, and it was delivered. Even if we only had a minute or two every week, we were getting it and we were involved in something and maximizing our minutes. The fact that he delivers on what he says, it has gone a long way with someone like me. Now, that’s paying off and I’m having the run of my life and I’m having a blast.”

Chad Gable’s decision to re-sign with WWE has been met with relief and excitement from fans, especially with his upcoming Intercontinental Championship match against Sami Zayn at Clash at The Castle today. As Gable recommits to WWE, speculation mounts on whether this renewed dedication will lead to championship success.

Meanwhile, other WWE Superstars, such as Becky Lynch, have chosen to let their contracts expire, venturing into free agency. Ricochet is also expected to follow suit soon, having been strategically sidelined from WWE TV to elevate Bron Breakker.

Despite these departures, talents like Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and now Chad Gable have opted to stay put, reaffirming their commitment to WWE and continuing their journeys within the company.
