It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! The one-year anniversary episode of AEW Collision will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the June 15, 2024 episode.

AEW Collision Results (6/15/2024):

The show opens up with “The Patriarch” Christian Cage welcoming the fans to Collision. Cage starts off by saying it was a year ago that he won the TNT Championship and put this show on his back. Cage then says that tonight’s Collision will end up being very special.

Blackpool Combat Club (“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli) then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the night and Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcomes us to the show. TMDK (Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste), Lio Rush and Rocky “Azúcar” Romero then make their way down to the ring next.

8-Man Tag Team Match: Blackpool Combat Club (“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli) vs. TMDK (Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste), Lio Rush and Rocky “Azúcar” Romero

The match starts off with Bryan Danielson and Lio Rush. Bryan tries to kick Lio who ducks. Lio then runs the ropes, but Bryan ducks a kick. Both men then lock up for test of strength. They then break the hold as Bryan picks up Lio and then tags in Yuta. Lio then nails Yuta and pushes him to the corner. Rush then tags in Romero as he and Yuta go at it with slaps. Romero then kicks Yuta in the head, but he recovers and grabs Romero and holds him to tag in Claudio. Romero then runs the ropes and takes down Claudio. Romero then hits Mikey Nicholls with a running lariat and Shane Haste is tagged in, but Claudio takes him down with a bulldog. Bryan Danielson is then tagged in. Bryan then drop kicks Shane Haste and then follows it up with a running kick to the head and a running elbow. Bryan then applies the yes lock as Rush, Romero and Haste come in. The rest of the BCC then come in and take out Haste, Rush and Romero. Danielson then hits Nicholls with several kicks. Danielson then gets distracted as Haste hits him.

Romero then charges at Danielson and hits him in the throat with a forearm. Danielson is then up on the ropes. Romero then climbs up as Danielson drops him. Haste is then tagged in and so is Claudio. Claudio takes TDMK down with big uppercuts. Claudio then picks up Haste for huge big body drop. Claudio then goes to the outside and has a chair. Claudio then charges at Nicholls and sends him over the barricade. Claudio then attempts a giant swing on Haste, but Nicholls comes in to break up the hold. Nicholls then sends Yuta to the floor. Moxley then comes in and kicks Haste in the face. Nicholls is then tagged in and so is Moxley. Moxley takes Nicholls out with several rights as the fans count along. Nicholls then hits Moxley with a back elbow. Both men then go down by hitting lariats on each other. Rush is then tagged in as he goes to the top rope and lands on Moxley. Rush then covers him for only a two count and Moxley recovers. TDMK then comes in and double teams Moxley. Danielson then comes in and takes out Haste with a running dropkick. Romero is in now as Claudio picks him up with the giant swing. Rush then comes in and tries a headlock on Claudio. Claudio then breaks the hold and tosses Rush up as Moxley catches him and hits him with a death rider as Claudio covers Rush to get the win for the BCC.

The winners of the 8-Man Tag Team Match, Blackpool Combat Club (“The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson, IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley, ROH Pure Champion Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli)!

After the match, Moxley grabs the mic and says that he wasn’t coming to Forbidden Door to defend the IWGP World Heavyweight Title against Tetsuya Naito as he was coming to put Naito in the ground. Moxley then made it clear that this was Naito’s last chance.

We then get a video package hyping up this Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Match between MJF and RUSH.

Tony Schiavone is in the middle of the ring and he brings out The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn.

Max Caster starts off by saying they usually come out and rap and do some punchlines, but today The Young Bucks issued them a $5,000 fine for disparaging company executives. Caster then says the EVPs are out of touch with the AEW fans. Caster then says AEW fans want him on the microphone roasting everyone and Daddy Ass and Bowens hitting the scissors. Anthony Bowens then says this Wednesday night on Dynamite they will face The Young Bucks for the first time since 2020 and they aren’t the same team they faced four years ago. Bowens then runs down The Acclaimed’s accomplishments over the last four years. Bowens then says they can fine them all they want, but nothing will stop them from getting their tag titles back. Caster then tells the Young Bucks to take their fines and stick it up their ass. Caster then tries to rap but is interrupted by Brandon Cutler. Brandon Cutler says the EVPs have carried this show on their backs since day one, but The Acclaimed take every opportunity to disparage them. Cutler then tries to fine them more money. Christopher Daniels then comes out and says Tony Khan has reversed the fines and given them back their money. Daniels then beats Cutler’s ass and tosses him in the ring with The Acclaimed, who beat him up more. The Acclaimed then hit the Scissor Me Timbers on Cutler to end the segment.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a No DQ Match.

No DQ Match: Thunder Rosa vs. “The Virtuosa” Deonna Purrazzo

The match starts off with Rosa climbing the ropes, but Deonna takes advantage of it as she pushes Rosa. The action then spills to the floor and Rosa grabs Deonna and slams her head on the steel steps. Rosa then goes under the ring and grabs a trash can and a chain. Rosa then hits Purrazzo with then trash can lid. Deonna then grabs Rosa’s arm and puts it in between the steel steps and ring and then kicks the steps. Deonna then grabs a chair and sets it up between the turnbuckles. Rosa then comes in and hits Deonna with a back elbow and then drops her with a death valley driver. Rosa then grabs a table and tries to put it in the ring, but Deonna takes her down with a sliding baseball drop kick.

Deonna has a chair, but Rosa kicks it into the face of Purrazzo. Rosa then picks up Deonna and drops her on the table. Rosa then covers Purrazzo, but she kicks out at two. Rosa is now up on the ropes as Deonna kicks her hard. Rosa then drops to the mat. Purrazzo then drop kicks Rosa and covers her for a two count. Purrazzo then picks up Rosa, but she counters it and DDT’s Deonna on the chair. Rosa then covers Purrazzo, but she kicks out at two. Rosa then sets up the table and then puts the trash can over Purrazzo. Rosa then uses the table as a ramp and drop kicks Deonna. Rosa then covers Purrazzo for only a two count. Rosa then spikes Deonna in the gut. Purrazzo then recovers and picks up Rosa and piledrivers her. Deonna then locks in the arm of Rosa as she gets out of the hold. The action then spills to the floor. Deonna then kicks one of the staff photographers. Deonna then hits Rosa in the head with the camera and then grabs the arms of Rosa and pulls them back. The referee then calls for the bell as Rosa is out.

After the match, Purrazzo stands on Rosa as she celebrates her win.

We then get a video package of the very first Collision that aired one year ago.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Hechicero vs. Dalton Castle

The match starts off with both men attempting to lock up. Both men then go to the ropes. Castle then jaws at Hechicero as he slaps Castle. Both men then slap each other. Castle then runs the ropes, but Hechicero runs behind him and drops him on his back. Hechicero then covers Castle for only a two count. Castle then grabs Hechicero and hits him with an elbow. Castle then picks up Hechicero for a bang a rang, but Hechicero counters out of it. Castle then hits Hechicero with a back elbow, but he comes back with big chops on Castle. Castle then picks up Hechicero and suplexes him. Dalton then picks up Hechicero, but he counters with a sunset flip. Hechicero then delivers a twisting leg drop on Castle for the win.

After the match, Hechicero and then Gates of Agony triple team Castle. Castle’s new boys then come in, but its too much. Daniel Garcia’s music then hits as he and Matt Menard run in with chairs to send the heels out of the ring.

We then head to the back, where Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin) and Action Andretti are being interviewed. It is announced that Shane Taylor Promotions, Darius Martin and Action Andretti are banned from ringside. Dante Martin says he’s about friendly competition and remembers when Lee Moriarty used to be the same way. Lio Rush then comes in and tries to catch up with Dante Martin and wishes him luck tonight. Andretti is open to it since they have history, but Darius wanted nothing to do with him.

“The Patriarch” Christian Cage then makes his way down to the ring to address the AEW fans.

Momma Wayne, Nick Wayne and Killswitch are already in the ring. Momma Wayne says how dare you boo a mother. Momma Wayne then introduces Christian Cage and Cage sits in a chair and says that he didn’t expect the most important holiday of the year in a rust bucket. Cage then tells Youngstown to shut their mouths. Cage then says today is the anniversary of the untimely passing of his adopted son’s father. Christian then says Nick’s father’s passing was the best thing that ever happened to him. Cage then tells Nick he loves him and calls him son. Nick then gives a card to Cage. Nick then reads it and in the card, Nick calls Christian dad. We also see a gift that is covered. Christian pulls the black curtain off and its a painting of himself. Cage doesn’t seem impressed, but then he talks about the card, calling Nick a wordsmith and says he will cherish it forever. We then get a Luchasaurus chant. Christian then says his name is Killswitch. Christian then tells Killswitch why can’t he be more like Nick. As Killswitch starts to leave, Christian tells Killswitch to get back in the ring. Christian then talks about how his shoulder was up at the three count in his title match with Swerve Strickland. Christian then says his gift to Nick and Killswitch is that they will win the World Unified Trios Championship. Christian then says Tony Khan’s father gave him money to start AEW so he could see a smile on his son’s face. Christian then says he is greatest signing in AEW and says he is Tony Khan’s father and that the Patriarchy is the greatest ever.

We then head to the back, where the Bang Bang Gang cuts a promo. They call themselves the Collision cowboys and say they built Collision brick by brick. They then run down Christian Cage and the House of Black. They then say that tonight is not about the titles, but if you can hang with the Collision cowboys.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Forbidden Door TNT Championship Ladder Match Qualifier.

Forbidden Door TNT Championship Ladder Match Qualifier: Shane Taylor Promotions’ “Taiga Style” Lee Moriarty vs. Top Flight’s Dante Martin

The match starts off with Lee going after Dante, but Dante uses his legs to block it. Both men then flips around and Lee puts his leg up. We then get a test of strength and Lee takes Dante down. Lee then runs the ropes as Martin uses his legs to take Lee down. Lee then goes to the floor. Martin then runs as if he is going to leap, but Lee moves out of the way. Martin then chops Lee. The action then goes back into the ring and Lee sends Martin to the floor. Dante then gets out of the hold. Dante then grabs Lee with his left arm, but it gives way. Dante is then up on the ropes and leaps on Lee who drops to the mat. Dante then covers Lee, who kicks out at two. Dante then works on the back of Lee. Lee then comes back and grabs the left arm of Dante and then stomps on the hand of Dante. Lee then drops Martin and applies the border city stretch. The referee then checks on Martin, who makes it to the bottom rope to break the hold. Lee then picks up Dante and slams him hard to the mat. Lee then hooks the legs of Martin for a pin attempt, but Martin kicks out at two. Martin then comes back and hits Lee with a knee lift. Martin then goes to the top rope. Martin then comes down with a big splash on Lee and covers him for the win.

The winner of the Forbidden Door TNT Championship Ladder Match Qualifier, Top Flight’s Dante Martin!

After the match, Shane Taylor and Anthony Ogogo makes their way down to the ring and takes out Martin. Action Andretti and Darius Martin then make their way down to the ring to make the save, but it becomes too much. Lio Rush then make his way down to the ring and he takes out Taylor and Ogogo. Rush then sends Moriarty out of the ring. Shane Taylor Promotions then retreats as Lio looks on. Lio then looks at Top Flight and Action and we a get nod from Dante.

We then get a video package on Hikaru Shida, where it is announced that she will be entering the Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup Tournament.

We then get the entrances of the next match, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Kyle O’Reilly vs. Anthony Henry

The match starts off with both men locking up. Kyle then takes down Henry. Both men then walk around the ring. Both men then lock up again. Henry then picks up O’Reilly and drops him on his back. Henry then has a wrist lock on Kyle, but Kyle gets out of it. Kyle then grabs the left arm of Henry and works on it. Henry then grabs O’Reilly and slams him on his back. Henry then kicks the back of the head of O’Reilly, but it only fires up O’Reilly. Henry then kicks O’Reilly, but he blocks it and sends Henry to the corner. O’Reilly then grabs the left arm of Henry and drops him to the mat. O’Reilly then pulls on the left arm and he has it wrapped up with his legs. Henry then taps out.

The commentary team then runs down the current lineup for Wednesday’s Dynamite followed by the Learning Tree segment for next week’s Collision.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Trios Match.

Trios Match: AEW Unified World Trios Champions The Bang Bang Gang (“Switchblade” Jay White, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn) vs. House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews)

The match starts off with all six men standing in the ring as we get a stare down. Malakai and Juice then lock up as Juice sends Black down with a shoulder tackle. Both men then stare at each other. Juice then puts up his leg at Black. Black then sends Juice down as Austin is tagged in. Austin then tags in Colten after Brody King is tagged in. The Gunns then attempt to double team Brody, but he sends them down and then to the floor. Juice is then tagged in, but the House of Black sends him to the floor. The Gunns and Juice Robinson are back in the ring, but the House of Black sends them to the floor. The action then spills to the floor. Malakai then works on the left arm of Colten. Buddy then tags in Black, who stomps on it from the top rope. Austin is then tagged in as he nails Black. Austin then tags in Juice. Austin then drop kicks Black. Juice then covers Black for only a two count. Juice then drops Black and covers him, but Black kicks out at two. Austin is then tagged in and hits Black with right hands. Colten is then tagged in. The Gunns then double team Black. Juice is then tagged in. Black then tries to fight his way out of the corner. Juice then drops Black with a spinning heel kick. Juice then covers Black who kicks out at two. Malakai is down in the corner. Juice then misses a running cannonball. Austin Gunn is then tagged in. Malakai then makes it to the corner to tag in Buddy Matthews. Matthews then takes out both Austin and Colten. Matthews then picks up Austin and drops him with a jackhammer and covers him, but Juice comes in to break it up. Buddy is up on the top and comes down, but Juice moves. Buddy then lands hard on his left knee and tags in Brody King.

Buddy is then sent to the floor as the medical staff are checking on him. Malakai then looks on as Brody takes down Colten. Juice and The Gunns are now on the floor. The medical staff then continue checking on Buddy’s knee. They then pick up Buddy and help him up. Austin then works on Brody in the corner. Juice then kicks Brody and then blows snot on him. Juice then hits with a cannonball on Brody. Juice then tags in Austin. Both Gunns are in as they double team Brody. Brody then comes back and takes down Juice and The Gunns with clotheslines. Brody then makes a tag to Malakai. Black drops Austin and hits Colten with a leg sweep. Malakai then kicks Colten again and makes a pin attempt, but Colten kicks out. Juice then distracts Malakai and Colten hits Malakai in the back of the head. Malakai then goes down and Colten covers him for only a two count. Austin then drops Malakai with the fameasser, but Malakai kicks out. Juice is up on the top rope and PAC comes out and sends Juice to the floor. Malakai then hits Austin and covers him for the win.

After the match, we go to the big screen with Christian Cage congratulating the House of Black on becoming the new number one contender’s for the Unified World Trios Championships. Cage then says there is only one problem as they are not trios anymore. The camera then shows Buddy Matthew out cold on a chair on the floor. Cage then puts the painting of himself on Matthews as the show comes to a close.
