Final Participants for Upcoming Battle Royal on 6/18 NXT Still Undecided

WWE has a lot of plans in the pipeline, especially when it comes to NXT. That’s why they have booked a huge battle royal for the June 18th edition of NXT but it appears they still haven’t finalized all the participants in the show.

During the June 11th edition of NXT, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes took the stage to address the NXT Universe. He was in the ring with NXT Champion Trick Williams for a brief exchange.

Rhodes then made a significant announcement: the next challenger for the title would be decided in a 25-man Battle Royal scheduled for the following week. The ultimate winner of this intense showdown would earn the opportunity to face Trick at NXT Heatwave.

Fightful Select has reported that most participants for next week’s 25-man battle royal were finalized by Tuesday evening. Inquiries about using specific main roster talent were made last week. According to sources, there is anticipation of TNA talent being involved in the match, as indicated by several NXT wrestlers. However, the final decision on participants is expected to be made later this week.

“The majority of participants in next week’s 25 man battle royal were locked in on Tuesday evening, with inquiries made about using certain main roster talent being made last week. We are told TNA talent is also expected in the match by several NXT talent, but are told that a final decision on who will not be made till later this week.”

Matt Hardy also hinted at appearing in the battle royal match on the June 18th edition of WWE NXT. We’ll have to wait and see what surprises WWE will have planned for next week’s show, as anticipation is at an all-time high.
