Matt Riddle’s time in WWE was tumultuous, marred by controversies stemming from his conduct outside the ring, ultimately culminating in his unexpected release last year. While he is having a great time competing in other promotions, it appears he had to cancel future shows after being involved in a car accident.

Since parting ways with WWE, Riddle has been actively involved in various wrestling promotions, including Major League Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling and also tons of indie promotions.

The King of Bros took to Twitter and informed his fans and followers that he would be unable to attend both tonight’s and tomorrow’s shows. He explained that while en route to the airport, the Uber he was traveling in got into an accident.

As a result of the incident, he had to go to the hospital to undergo a medical evaluation. Riddle disclosed that he sustained a concussion along with various bumps and bruises from the accident, but reassured everyone that he would ultimately recover.

”Just wanted to share with everyone that I won’t be making tonight’s show or tomorrow’s show, unfortunately on my way to the airport my Uber got into an accident and I had to go to the hospital and get checked out. I have a concussion, bumps and bruises but I’ll be fine #seatbelt”

Matt Riddle’s current injury is a concerning development, and we wish him a swift recovery. As he has sustained a concussion and other injuries, they will likely keep him sidelined for an extended period of time.
