MJF made his highly anticipated return at Double or Nothing and subsequently appeared on the June 5th and 12th editions of AEW Dynamite. Despite this, some believe he made a mistake by not joining WWE.

Since his return to AEW television, The Salt of The Earth began heated feud with Rush, which has seen both of them try to tear each other limb from limb during their brawls on Dynamite.

On the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Disco Inferno suggested that the 28-year-old would have greatly benefited from joining the Stamford-based company. The former WCW star argued that as a WWE Superstar, MJF would have had more opportunities to entertain, reach a wider audience, and secure acting roles in mainstream media.

“I think MJF made a mistake. I said before, I think he should be in WWE. He’d be more entertaining. He’d be more mainstream and he’d probably get more movies.”

AEW President Tony Khan is also confident that MJF will permanently stay with the company. In the meantime, MJF is scheduled to face Rush on the June 19th edition of AEW Dynamite. It will be interesting to see who emerges victorious in this anticipated match.
