Ricky Morton Grieves The Loss of His Son

WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Morton is a true legend in the world of professional wrestling and his wealth of knowledge is truly immeasurable, but unfortunately he had some sad news to announce today as he revealed that his son had passed away.

Ricky Morton took to his Facebook account and expressed his heartfelt emotions , acknowledging that in the past week or so, he may have seemed distant. He explained that this distance was never due to a lack of love, but rather the immense pride and admiration he felt for his son. Sometimes, words fall short in expressing the depth of a father’s love.

Morton continued, saying that a father should never have to endure the experience of losing a child, as it is an unimaginable pain that defies the natural order of life. Unfortunately, he has faced this, losing a huge part of himself. With the heaviest heart, he shared the passing of his oldest son, Jonathan Morton.

Jonathan, his firstborn, was a beacon of talent and love. Morton noted that his son excelled in many areas, showcasing his incredible athletic abilities and dedication. He also touched many lives with his music, writing a few major country songs that resonated deeply with so many. Jonathan was a huge family man, always putting loved ones first, and he was the light of Ricky’s life, along with all his children.

Jonathan also touched many lives with his music, writing a few huge country songs that resonated deeply with so many. Jonathan was a huge family man, always putting loved ones first, and he was the light of my life. Along with all my children.
