Giulia’s In-Ring Return Status Amidst Injury Hiatus Revealed

Giulia’s arrival at NXT Stand & Deliver took the wrestling world by surprise and marked a major step forward in her career. She then suffered an injury last month and fans were dubious about her in-ring return for the upcoming Marigold event and now her in-ring return status for the event has been revealed.

Last month, Giulia underwent surgery for her wrist injury and a few days afterwards, she ended up getting discharged from the hospital. Since then, she has been healing up and is on the road to recovery.

Marigold Summer Destiny is set for July 13, 2024, and a highly anticipated match had been announced for Giulia, marking her in-ring return. In the double main event, Giulia will face Sareee, while WWE’s Iyo Sky will take on Utami Hayashishita.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Giulia’s in-ring return status for the event, noting that Giulia is planning to participate in the match, despite having recently undergone surgery.

“The last I heard Giulia was saying she was going to do the match, you know she did have surgery, it’s going to be a close call but right now that’s the double main event.”

Although her recovery journey presents challenges, signs of progress offer hope for Giulia’s eventual return to action. As fans eagerly await further updates, the wrestling world remains hopeful that Giulia will indeed make her highly anticipated in-ring return at the Marigold event.
