Eric Bischoff Calls Ongoing Uncle Howdy Storyline a ‘Risky’ Move by WWE

WWE has built quite the anticipation among fans with their ongoing QR code gameplay. This all is being done for the return of the Uncle Howdy storyline with speculations of a lot of exciting things being planned. This would be a tribute to the late former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt, who passed away last year. 

WWE has been planning to build this storyline for months now. After weeks of QR code mysteries, the day is seemingly on the horizon when Uncle Howdy makes his return. As revealed in code featured during the 6/10 episode of WWE Raw, Howdy and his faction are speculated to mark their return during the 6/17 episode of Raw. 

In a recent appearance in the 83 Weeks podcast, Eric Bischoff addressed the ongoing storyline and gave his flowers to WWE for having the guts to show such a risky storyline. The legend stated that while WWE could go big with the story, having that tribute to Bray Wyatt essence, things could turn around any time in the future. 

“I have no idea [if it will work] but hats off to WWE for having the balls to try it, because it’s a high-risk maneuver. I say that because if it comes together and it works, it can be massive. But if it doesn’t come off, if it doesn’t register, the letdown is gonna be huge. This has the potential to be really, really big, and it has the potential of being really, really not. I’m excited about it.”

As June 17 approaches, the anticipation for the return of the Uncle Howdy storyline continues to build. WWE’s tribute to the late Bray Wyatt, former WWE Champion, promises to be both exciting and heartfelt. After months of cryptic QR code teases, fans are eager to see what unfolds.
