Drew McIntyre’s ascent to superstardom in WWE has been truly remarkable, marked by perseverance and numerous achievements. Currently, in Scotland ahead of the June 14th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, he was recently seen linking up with Billy Corgan.
McIntyre is slated to face current World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest at the upcoming WWE Clash at the Castle event on June 15th at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland, in what is one of the most significant matches of his career.
Ahead of the premium live event, McIntyre arrived in Scotland and has been enjoying his time reconnecting with old friends. The Scottish Warrior took to Twitter and uploaded a video of himself meeting up with NWA owner and Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan. The two ended up having an amusing brief interaction and fans loved it.

As for Billy Corgan, he recently signed Bryan Idol and Natalia Markova to multi-year deals with the NWA, so he is clearly keeping himself busy as well. Nonetheless, McIntyre is fully focused on Clash at The Castle, so we’ll have to see how the match will turn out for him.
