When WWE’s Negotiations with Marigold Started to Come Together

Rossy Ogawa recently shed light on Marigold’s collaboration with WWE, revealing insights into the negotiations and the partnership’s evolution.

Speaking to Tokyo Sports, the founder and promoter shared that discussions with WWE commenced as early as March, gaining momentum in April when he met with Triple H during WrestleMania XL, accompanied by Giulia.

Ogawa attributed the partnership’s fruition partly to his association with Giulia, suggesting WWE’s responsiveness to their request. He disclosed that finalizing the arrangement hinged on schedule adjustments, a process that recently reached resolution.

Highlighting WWE’s interest in signing Giulia, Ogawa emphasized the reciprocal nature of the collaboration, noting IYO’s inclusion in the upcoming event as a “condition of exchange.”

“It must be because of my relationship with Giulia. They responded to our request. They said that all that was left was to adjust the schedule, and that was only recently cleared up.”

Moreover, it was revealed that footage featuring IYO at the Marigold event on June 11 was captured a day earlier, on June 10, during WWE Raw.

With Giulia slated to clash with Sareee at Marigold Summer Destiny, the event promises a dynamic convergence of talent from both Marigold and WWE, further underscoring the potential for cross-promotional synergy.
