Former WWE superstar Miro joined AEW in 2020 and made a huge impression upon his arrival. Despite this success, his achievements have been somewhat limited, and his recent absence from the ring has raised questions about his status and future in the company.

At AEW World’s End last year, Miro scored a notable win over Andrade El Idolo with the assistance of his former wife, CJ Perry. However, Miro has been absent from AEW television since. A report further stated Miro is out of action due to injury.

Amidst his reported injury, Miro has landed a role in an upcoming film project. In his latest Instagram post, the former WWE United States Champion shared behind-the-scenes footage from the film while expressing gratitude to Edward John Drake for giving him the opportunity.

“On set with my favorite guy Kevin James! Thank you @edwardjohndrake for casting me and directing this fun , entertaining and action packed movie. Coming soon.”
