Je’Von Evans is one of NXT’s brightest young stars who has continuously impressed fans and higher-ups alike with his incredible in-ring ability. With that said, it appears he is currently injured after this week’s episode of NT.
During the June 11 episode of WWE NXT, Je’Von Evans squared off against Shawn Spears. In a pivotal moment, Evans attempted a high-risk dive, but unfortunately, he landed hard on the broadcast table, resulting in him bleeding from the mouth.
Updating his condition today, Evans took to Twitter and assured fans that he was alright overall, albeit with some ribs feeling the effects. According to Evans, the doctor diagnosed his ribs as cracked but not broken. Despite the setback, Evans expressed his determination to compete, noting the necessity of taping up his ribs for an upcoming battle royal scheduled for the following week.
”For Everyone Wondering, I’m All Good. Got Some Messed Up Ribs. The Dr Said They Are Cracked But Not Broken. Cmon Doc…We Gotta Tape ’em Up💯Ya Boy Gotta Battle Royal Next Week!!!! #TheYoungOG #NXTYoungBlood #WWENXT”
Je’Von Evans is set to compete in the 25-man Battle Royal on the June 18th edition of NXT in order to determine the #1 contender for the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave, so we’ll have to see how Evans will fare in the match.
