The world of professional wrestling has many second-generation stars and even beyond that, especially when it comes to WWE. In fact, former WWE Superstar Jimmy Wang Yang’s daughter Jazzy Yang has now expressed her desire to work in NXT as well.
While speaking to Steve Fall for Ringside News, Jazzy Yang was asked what is her next step in pro wrestling. Yang shared her aspirations and future plans and revealed that she plans on going to Japan first and is set to go to Puerto Rico.
“I’m not sure yet, just whoever’s willing to pay me enough money to do it, I guess. But I want to travel the world first. I want to go back to Japan. I really love Japan. I want to go back over there and live there for three months.
I’m actually going to Puerto Rico soon, so I’m gonna wrestle over there and stay there for two weeks. I want to get to Mexico.”
When it comes to her ultimate career goals, Jazzy Yang has her sights set on NXT. Yang explained how NXT’s emphasis on female wrestlers has definitely made her a huge fan of the product, especially when it comes to character development.
”I just want to travel the whole world first and then maybe go into NXT. I would love to be in NXT. That’s my number one goal right now. I enjoy watching NXT because I get to see all the girls. The girls get so much time. I love the stories and character development they have on there. So that’s my goal right now: NXT.”
We will have to wait and see whether Jazzy Yang will end up making her way to NXT somewhere down the line, as someone with her talent could definitely find big success in WWE’s developmental brand.
