Earlier this year, popular AEW star Darby Allin suffered a foot injury exacerbated by a bus accident. Despite these setbacks, Allin competed at AEW Double or Nothing, enduring significant pain.

Darby Allin was a part of Team AEW in the Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing. In the final moments, Darby Allin set Jack Perry on fire after Perry involved Tony Khan in the chaos. The Young Bucks then hung Allin upside down and struck his face with their shoes embedded with thumbtacks, leaving him in agony. The match ended with Jack Perry pinning Bryan Danielson, and fans were naturally concerned about Allin’s condition.

A recent report suggested that Darby Allin had an MRI, which showed his nose was not broken. Allin received a clean bill of health and is expected to recover fully. However, he was still dealing with pain in his foot and nose from the match.

However, in a new update revealed by AEW commentator Excalibur during the broadcast of the June 12 edition of AEW Dynamite, he stated that Darby Allin has also suffered a major back injury in the aforementioned match that would put him out of action indefinitely.
