Swerve Strickland starts off by saying Forbidden Door is right around the corner, then he addresses Will Ospreay challenging him for the AEW World Championship. Strickland then says the match will be between two of the biggest stars of this generation colliding and one killer will be competing in the match. Strickland then says he told Ospreay ten years ago he would be unstoppable when he developed his killer instinct. Strickland then says he saw an assassin get the job done in his match against Kenny Omega last year at Forbidden Door as was the case against Konosuke Takeshita and Bryan Danielson at AEW Revolution and AEW Dynasty. Strickland then says he didn’t see that instinct at AEW Double or Nothing and he needs to have that instinct to dethrone him. Strickland then credits Ospreay with being a fighting champion unlike the AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks.
