Two Matches Announced For 6/11 WWE NXT

The fallout June 11 edition of WWE NXT for Battleground was an highly enthralling show marked by the return of two former NXT stars, a major victory for a female star and the rare appearance of Cody Rhodes setting the tone for next week’s show.

Speaking of Cody Rhodes, the Undisputed WWE Champion addressed the NXT Universe and met up with the NXT Champion Trick Williams. Following a brief moment with Trick, Rhodes announced that his next challenger will be determined in 25-man Battle Royal next week with the winner facing Trick at NXT Heatwave.

Also in a backstage segment, it was revealed that Lexis King, Ethan Page and Shawn Spears will all be a part of the match alongside superstars from other locker room as hinted by Cody Rhodes.

On the other hand, Michin picked up an important win over Jaida Parker with the assistance of her OC cohorts, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. It was later annonced Michin would face Kelani Jordan in her first title defense as the NXT North American Champion next week.
