TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at the 2024 NXT Battleground Premium Live Event, which saw Perez retain her title. Interestingly enough, WWE originally had other plans for the match.

As the intensity of the match reached its climax, Tatum Paxley made a sudden appearance at ringside, stealing Jordynne Grace’s Knockouts title. However, she was quickly cut off by Ash By Elegance, who stepped in to stop Paxley. Amidst the ensuing confusion, Grace capitalized on the opportunity and managed to take down both Paxley and Elegance.

This momentary distraction proved to be pivotal for Roxanne Perez. Seizing the opportunity presented by the chaos, Perez executed her signature move, the “Pop Rox” for the win.

According to PWInsider, Ash By Elegance’s involvement in the Battleground Premium Live Event over the weekend was a last-minute addition. Initially, the planned finish was supposed to involve only Tatum Paxley. However, the idea of incorporating another surprise element by adding Ash By Elegance emerged during the discussions, leading to her unexpected appearance.

Fans were undoubtedly surprised by Ash By Elegance’s sudden appearance at the Premium Live Event, particularly because it had been less than a year since her last NXT appearance. Regardless, we’ll have to see if she will return to NXT again eventually.
