Jordynne Grace etched her name in the history books when she challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at Battleground 2024. After a valiant effort against the NXT star, Grace ended up failing to win the title. However, following the match, Grace revealed a nasty ear injury that she sustained during the battle.
In a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Grace discussed her match at NXT Battleground 2024. The Impact Wrestling star stated that she had a lot more potential than she could display in her match in WWE. Grace claimed that the WWE Universe are yet to see the real Jordynne Grace.
Speaking about her match, Grace also pulled out a limitation that might have been the reason she lost her match. The TNA Knockouts Champion stated that she couldn’t use the piledriver in the match. However, a bit more credibility to her name could get her the allowance to deliver piledrivers.
“I do think it was a strong performance but I feel like I can do better. I feel like the WWE Universe hasn’t witnessed what I can do yet. Can’t do any piledrivers, only certain people. They don’t know me like that (laughs). I gotta get some more like credibility under my belt first before I start busting out trapped-arm piledrivers I don’t know.”
While Jordynne Grace lost her opportunity at NXT Battleground 2024, her returning for another WWE match very soon won’t be a surprise. It would be interesting to see how things play out for her in her next opportunity. Stay connected to Ringside News to get the latest updates on the industry.
