Iyo Sky Confirmed for Marigold Summer Destiny Event

Iyo Sky is one of the most talented professional wrestlers in WWE right now and she was a massive name in Japan before coming to WWE. That is why it’s no surprise she will now be returning to Japan for a Marigold event.

At Dream Star Fighting Marigold’s 6/11 event at Korakuen Hall, the main event featured a singles match between Nanae Takahashi and Utami Hayashishita.

Following the match, a video message aired on the main screen from WWE talent Iyo Sky. She issued a challenge to Hayashishita for a match at Marigold’s ‘Summer Destiny’ show on July 13th at Ryōgoku Sumo Hall.

In case you didn’t know, Iyo Sky previously worked under Marigold owner Rossy Ogawa in STARDOM, where she held the World of Stardom Championship twice.

We had previously reported that Sky was likely going to compete in Marigold, so this was not unexpected. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see how Iyo Sky will fare against Utami Hayashishita as it will definitely be a hard-hitting encounter.
