Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, made the most of his appearance on the June 11 edition of WWE NXT, bringing back an iconic artifact as the gift he teased in his earlier tweet.

Before unveiling that, Rhodes appeared in the ring to address his upcoming ‘I Quit’ match title defense against AJ Styles at WWE Clash at the Castle in Scotland. During his speech, NXT Champion Trick Williams joined him, seeking advice on transitioning from the hunter to the hunted. Rhodes encouraged Williams to aim for new challenges even after conquering one.

Furthermore, Rhodes then announced that Williams’ next challenger would be determined in 25-man over-the-top-rope battle royal next week, hinting at participation from all rosters.

Following the segment, as Jazmyn Nyx and her partner Jacy Jayne were spotted backstage, Cody Rhodes walked up to the previously injured Jacy Jayne, who now wore a face mask. He then gifted her the iconic mask he used to wear during his “Undashing” persona back in the early 2010s, bringing a major nostalgic moment back to WWE TV.
