CM Punk Has Unexpected Reaction to Ricochet Being Written Off TV on 6/10 WWE RAW

Ricochet’s current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2024 and so he was written off WWE television on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW. However, CM Punk had an unexpected reaction to Ricochet being written off, and this caught the attention of fans as well.

During the June 10th edition of Monday Night RAW, Ricochet stood in solidarity with Ilja Dragunov as he faced the formidable Bron Breakker. Despite Dragunov’s defeat, Ricochet rushed to his aid post-match. However, backstage, Breakker launched a vicious assault on Ricochet, unleashing a brutal beatdown. The onslaught reached its peak when Breakker mercilessly slammed Ricochet from a height onto the hood of a car, resulting in Ricochet being swiftly transported to the hospital in an ambulance.

Samantha Irvin, his fiancée, remained by his side throughout this harrowing ordeal. This dramatic sequence was WWE’s method of writing Ricochet off television following his decision not to renew his contract.

The assault on Ricochet was uploaded on WWE’s Instagram, drawing the attention of CM Punk. In a reply to the post, the presently sidelined WWE star chimed in with a remarkably clever and unexpected pun on Ricochet’s name.
