Ash By Elegance underwent a significant career transition following her release from WWE in September last year. She is already a big name in TNA Wrestling and after her appearance at NXT Battleground, Ash By Elegance has now made it clear she is eyeing an appearance at next year’s Royal Rumble as the TNA Knockouts Champion.
Elegance recently made a comeback to WWE during the crossover match between Roxanne Perez and Jordynne Grace at the WWE NXT Battleground event. She intervened swiftly, thwarting Tatum Paxley’s attempt to seize the TNA Knockouts World Championship, only to be knocked out by Grace for handling the title belt.
In a recent appearance on the Battleground Podcast, Grace revealed the emotional toll of missing the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble, the first she had missed since its inception in 2018. Expressing her ambitions, Ash aims to clinch the TNA Knockouts World Championship and then return to the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble flaunting her title, symbolizing her evolution since her WWE departure.
“I love the idea of that. Up until 2024, I was one of the very few, I think I was one of three or four, that had been in every single Royal Rumble. So it took a hit on my heart when I wasn’t part of this last one. I think and I truly believe coming into 2025, being able to enter the Royal Rumble with the TNA Knockout Women’s Title around my waist would be a huge accomplishment and every aspect of my life. Not only in WWE, not only in TNA but just me personally, knowing that I never gave up.
“I’ve always wanted to be a champion. Yes, that was a 15-time 24/7 Championship winner, but I just want to capture a title in TNA where they believed in me and I believed in them and I can represent it on the biggest stage of them all in the Royal Rumble.”
We have also reported that WWE took measures to hide Ash By Elegance’s return at NXT Battleground. Nonetheless, only time will tell whether Elegance will appear at next year’s Royal Rumble Premium Live Event as the TNA Knockouts Champion.
