WWE and AEW have become rival competitors ever since the latter was established in 2019. However, despite that, many superstars from both rosters are known to drop by to each other’s shows and tonight’s June 11 edition of WWE NXT reportedly had AEW star Rebel present backstage.

Rebel has been a consistent TV presence for AEW but has been missing in action for a while now. An earlier report stated that Rebel remained under contract with AEW. While she hasn’t been backstage during her absence, she has expressed interest in returning to TV if asked.

However, in a new update by Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, it was reported that Rebel was seen at the June 11 NXT tapings, though the reason for her presence is unknown. Moreover, she has also previously appeared for NXT multiple times.

Furthermore, Rebel hasn’t been on AEW TV since 2022 and hasn’t wrestled since August 2022, but she remains listed on AEW’s roster page.

“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that AEW talent Rebel (not Reba) is at the June 11 NXT tapings. We haven’t learned why she’s there, but she’d appeared for NXT multiple times in the past.”

With reports of her numerous visits to WWE NXT backstage, it remains unclear if she was visiting friends or down at the WWE Performance Center to discuss potential business with the company. Stay tuned to Ringside News as we continue to follow-up on this story.
