WWE has been on the top of their game with some of the best storylines featured every single on the shows. Under Triple H’s supervision, the promotion has been doing a brilliant job, selling out shows in almost every city they host an event in.
However, WWE canceled two of their house shows recently, raising some eyebrows on the ticket sales. WWE announced that their house show in Kennewick, WA set to be hosted on 9/14 and Boise, ID, set to be hosted on 9/15, were canceled.
Speculations that the ticket sales were not enough have started taking some internet space. However, as per WrestleTix, the shows being canceled is not because of the less ticket sales. With the show 3 months away, nobody will be able to help. However, there is some other reason behind WWE canceling the show which is yet to be known.
“WWE canceled two house shows this week, a 9/14 show in Kennewick, WA and 9/15 in Boise, ID. Ticket sales were fine in Boise, a little low in Kennewick but we’re three months away so it’s doubtful that was the reason for it. No reason was given and the arena in Kennewick just said the event organizer has had to cancel the event and that all refunds will be made as soon as the funds are received from the event organizer within 14 to 21 days.”
A few months ago, TKO’s Mark Shapiro stated that the number of house shows were set to be decreased for WWE. While WWE has canceled the above shows, they might add more to the list of canceled ones, given that the reason is yet to be known.
