The name Kelani Jordan has been etched in the history books of WWE forever as she won the six-woman ladder match to become the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion at NXT Battleground last night.
Kelani went through a field of talented NXT stars Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Michin, Jaida Parker, and Fallon Henley, all of who gave their absolute best efforts to clinch the newest NXT title.
In a match full of breathtaking displays of skill and determination, Kelani Jordan climbed the ladder and seized the championship. Moreover, she received a warm ovation backstage upon her victory, while her fellow competitors sustained no significant injuries despite the physicality involved.
Recently, WWE NXT took to their official Instagram to drop a video of Kelani Jordan getting her new customized side plates fixed on her title while the young upstart looked extremely happy after being handed the title.
“Sky’s the limit for @kelani_wwe as the FIRST-EVER #WWENXT Women’s North American Champion 🙌.”
As Kelani Jordan begins her road as the NXT Women’s North American Champion, we will have to wait and see which NXT star first steps up to the challenge to get their hands on NXT’s newest prize.
