TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace challenged Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at the 2024 NXT Battleground Premium Live Event, but it didn’t work in her favor as she lost the match. However, it appears that she will stop wearing ear piercings after suffering a brutal injury at the show.

As the match reached its peak, Tatum Paxley suddenly appeared at ringside, grabbing Jordynne Grace’s Knockouts title. Her actions were quickly countered by Ash By Elegance, a former WWE and TNA superstar, who intervened to stop Paxley. In the ensuing confusion, Grace managed to take down both Paxley and Elegance.

This brief distraction was all Roxanne needed. Taking full advantage of the chaos, she executed her signature move, “Pop Rox,” with precision, securing the pinfall and successfully retaining her title.

After the show, Jordynne Grace took to Twitter to share a photo revealing that a piece of her ear had been cut off yet again. In her post, she vowed to stop wearing ear piercings during matches from now on, hoping to prevent further injuries.

”Very say to announce that after many years of unproblematic, diligent work, my ear piercings will now retire from in-ring action.”

This isn’t the first time Jordynne Grace’s ear was slightly torn off, as the same thing happened during the May 23rd Impact television tapings. Nevertheless, Grace realized the error of her ways and will now hopefully avoid getting ear injuries again in the future.
