Ex-WWE Star Matt Riddle Confirms Active Talks with TNA Wrestling

During a recent appearance at River City Con, Riddle opened up about his journey since leaving WWE in September 2023. Speaking with Jurrrattt, he hinted at ongoing talks with TNA Wrestling, sparking interest about his next move.

Riddle remains open to various opportunities, stating, “WWE return? You never know. AEW? You never know.” Despite the uncertainty, he affirmed his commitment to NJPW and MLW, highlighting his unwavering dedication to wrestling.

Riddle also mentioned ongoing discussions with various promotions, including TNA, indicating his willingness to explore new opportunities. Amid these professional considerations, Riddle emphasized his focus on family, especially with a new baby in the picture.

 “I’ve been in talks with TNA. I’ve been in talks with everybody, to be honest. Right now, I’m focusing on myself.“

Discussing his family life, Riddle highlighted the challenge of balancing wrestling with fatherhood and his commitment to being present for his four children, including the youngest. It’s clear he’s striving for a better work-life balance than before.

“I just had a child. I have a six-month year old son, plus three other kids. My twin girls are 14 and my other son is 11. I have quite the roster. I’m just focusing on that because the last decade or longer, I’ve been wrestling and training.”
