Drew McIntyre is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in WWE right now and that is a doubled edged sword for him. While he loves the admiration from fans, he also detests fans who try to force him to sign memorabilia at airports.

The trend of fans gathering at airports to meet professional wrestlers has become increasingly problematic for many stars. While impromptu encounters are typically welcomed, a specific group of individuals now deliberately assemble at airports equipped with extensive merchandise, solely aiming to obtain autographs for resale on platforms like eBay.

This commercialization of fan interactions has understandably caused significant frustration among wrestlers, who feel exploited and disrespected by those prioritizing profit over genuine appreciation for their craft.

Last year, a video emerged on social media showing an unmasked Rey Mysterio refusing to sign an autograph at an airport. The fan in question was clearly trying to capitalize on Mysterio’s autograph for profit. Rey Mysterio isn’t alone in facing this issue; Rhea Ripley also encountered similar disrespect at an airport last year, where she was bombarded by fans and expressed her frustration with their behavior.

The Scottish Warrior took to Twitter and responded to a fan who asked him about his thoughts on a new Funko Pop featuring McIntyre. McIntyre made it clear he hates fans who try to force him to sign such memorabilia at airports, especially at 5 AM.

”They look great when they’re not shoved under my nose at 5am in the airport”

Recently, footage emerged of Liv Morgan engaging with fans seeking autographs at an airport. Nevertheless, Drew McIntyre has made it abundantly clear he simply has no respect for fans who do not value his private space and it’s not hard to see why.
