Dax Harwood revealed that he is being taken off the road to recover from a lower back injury sustained during AEW Dynasty. Harwood explained that he hurt his back in a ladder match against The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson & Nicholas Jackson), resulting in a painful hematoma.

Despite his efforts to tough it out, the injury worsened after a match on AEW Collision, where he and Cash Wheeler faced Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta).

“The pain has been excruciating over the past few months,” Harwood shared. “I tried to hide it because I didn’t want FTR taken off the road.” He further explained that an X-ray revealed the severity of his condition, prompting the AEW medical team to take him off the road immediately to prevent further damage and potential retirement.

It remains uncertain when Harwood will be able to return to the ring. In his video message, he expressed gratitude and a desire to return stronger.
