Cody Rhodes Confirmed to Appear on 6/11 WWE NXT Episode

The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes sent wrestling fans into a frenzy with a cryptic tweet hinting at a potential return to NXT. As the action unfolded for NXT Battleground last weekend, Rhodes took to Twitter to share his interest in the matches.

He particularly highlighted the bout between his old friend Ethan Page and Trick Williams. Moreover, the Undisputed WWE Champion also suggested the possibility of making surprise appearance in Florida, mentioning reconnecting with old friends and even bringing a gift.

During the June 10 edition of Monday Night RAW, it was confirmed that Cody Rhodes would indeed make his appearance on the fallout edition of WWE NXT for Battleground event that took place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Moreover, he also got response from Ethan Page when his appearance was a matter of speculation. However, now that Cody is on his way to the Black and Gold brand, it will be interesting to see things unfold with the top champion of WWE in the house at the Capitol Wrestling Center.
