The Best in the World, CM Punk, encountered a significant setback upon his return to WWE at the WWE Survivor Series 2023 when he sustained a major triceps injury at the Royal Rumble event.
Although Punk has been unable to compete in the ring, he has remained a prominent figure in WWE programming, largely due to his ongoing feud with Drew McIntyre, also known as The Scottish Warrior. Punk has taken his recovery seriously, constantly sharing videos of his progress on a regular basis.
However, in a new development, WWE’s event partners, Fanatics, took to their X to announce that CM Punk will be making his appearance at the upcoming Fanatics Fest, set to take place on Saturday, August 12, for a meet-and-greet with fans.
“Just announced! @wwe Superstar @CMPunk will be at Fanatics Fest signing autographs and taking photos on Saturday, August 17th!”
Amidst making appearances, CM Punk was also in attendance for the recent NXT Battleground event in Las Vegas, which saw him get berated by the woman who considered him an idol, Roxanne Perez.
On the other hand, while the exact date of his return remains uncertain, fans eagerly anticipate his re-entry into the ring and the continuation of his feud with Drew McIntyre, which is expected to culminate in a highly anticipated showdown. But for now, they can catch up with the former WWE champion in New York City in August.
