Chad Gable, among several WWE contracts set to expire in 2024, seems poised to continue his tenure with the company.
According to recent reports from Fightful Select, Gable’s WWE contract was initially slated to conclude on June 7. However, by the June 3 episode of WWE Raw, he was already confirmed for Clash At The Castle. While many have interpreted this as a sign of his re-signing with WWE, official confirmation is pending, as inquiries have been made to WWE directly.
Unlike other performers whose contracts recently expired and who have claimed to operate on a per-appearance basis with other companies, there has been no indication that Gable falls into this category. Nonetheless, both WWE and AEW sources assume that he has either re-signed with WWE or is staying with the company.
Interestingly, there was a notable push from within talent circles for Gable to join AEW, with discussions about him reportedly intensifying backstage last week. However, as of now, it seems Gable’s future remains intertwined with WWE, barring any official announcements or developments to the contrary.
