Bayley Envisions Potential Future Match with Mercedes Mone in WWE

WWE faced a significant loss when one of wrestling’s most influential women, Mercedes Mone, formerly known as Sasha Banks, debuted for AEW earlier this year. Despite Mone’s AEW run not yet reaching its full potential, she remains a prominent figure on the roster with a substantial paycheck.

Despite her departure, Mone has expressed her intention to return to WWE at some point. In a recent interview with Bernard Colas, WWE Women’s Champion Bayley shared her thoughts on the possibility of Mone’s return and a potential WrestleMania showdown between them.

Bayley revealed that she dreams of facing Mone at WrestleMania and would love to make it happen someday. However, she acknowledged that it might take time since Mone is currently not signed with WWE.

“In my dreams, it does happen, but you know, time is ticking, but never say never. I hate saying ‘never say never,’ and everybody says they hate saying ‘never say never,’ but they always say ‘never say never.’ Wrestling is so crazy. I’ve been thinking about that lately, how wild this world is, and I could see it happening someday, you know, if she wants. But it could be 10 years from now, and it could still be special, you know? She said one day is all. Yeah, yeah. So do what you gotta do.”

While Mercedes Mone and Bayley have clashed in WWE before, they have never faced off on a stage as grand as WrestleMania. A match at the Grandest Stage of them All would undoubtedly elevate their friendship and rivalry to new heights.
