UFC Presence Expected For 2024 WWE NXT Battleground Event

WWE NXT is gearing up to host one of its most exciting shows, NXT Battleground, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas tonight. The setup at the spectacular sight, as seen in recent photos, promises to be an enthralling evening for wrestling fans across the globe.

The line-up for the show is expected to be headlined by the debuting Ethan Page battling Trick Williams for the NXT Championship. Additionally, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will clash with Roxanne Perez for her NXT Women’s Championship, courtesy of the groundbreaking collaboration between WWE and TNA.

Furthermore, another major attraction for NXT Battleground will be the crowning of the first-ever NXT Women’s North American Champion. Competitors Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Fallon Henley, Jaida Parker, Kelani Jordan, and Michin will compete for the title in a six-woman ladder match.

Moreover, according to a new update by Fightful Select, a significant UFC presence is expected at the event, particularly during the NXT Underground match between Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler. There was speculation about the competitors using UFC gloves for their bout, though it remains unclear if this is part of the finalized plans for tonight.

“As reported earlier this week, a heavy UFC presence is expected at the event, especially surrounding the NXT Underground match. We were told there was consideration for the competitors to use UFC gloves in their bout, but haven’t heard if this is in concrete plans for tonight.”

With WWE set to make history with this groundbreaking event, it will surely go down in NXT history as one of the most enthralling shows that took over Sin City in grand fashion, which could be more exciting should a UFC presence actually make it to tonight’s show.
