WWE NXT hosted one of its most exciting PLEs for their developmental brand, NXT, titled Battleground, with passionate members of the WWE Universe gathering at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas to witness this groundbreaking event.
In a major highlight on tonight’s NXT Battleground PLE, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace competed against current NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez for the title as part of the recent collaboration between WWE and TNA.
As part of this collaborative effort, TNA legend Gail Kim was spotted in attendance at NXT Battleground. She was seen enjoying the opening match of the night. Furthermore, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, alongside Gail, TNA President Anthony Cicione, Jonathan Gresham, and SVP of Content Ariel Shnerner, were also in attendance at the show.
