WWE NXT kicked their PLE in Las Vegas, NXT Battleground, in grand fashion with the passionate members of the WWE Universe in attendance at the UFC Apex to witness the groundbreaking event.
Interestingly, former WWE superstar and TNA legend Gail Kim was spotted in attendance at the NXT Battleground. Gail could be seeing the action that kicked off the night, the six-woman ladder match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship that saw Kelani Jordan become the inaugural champion.
Gail Kim’s appearance on tonight’s WWE Battleground PLE could have come through, courtesy of the collaboration between TNA and WWE as witnessed weeks ago.
Moreover, in regard to the collaboration, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will be competing for the NXT Women’s Championship against the current titleholder, Roxanne Perez, on tonight’s show. As for Gail, we will have to wait and see if she makes an onscreen appearance on the show as the night continues to enthrall the WWE Universe in Las Vegas.
