WWE NXT hosted their premium live event, NXT Battleground, in spectacular style, with an enthusiastic crowd of WWE Universe members gathered at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas to witness this historic occasion.
Alongside a stacked match card featuring top NXT stars competing on the big stage, another major star was said to be in attendance for NXT Battleground. The man was none other than CM Punk.
According to PWInsider, The Best in the World was reportedly behind the scenes for the groundbreaking event hosted by NXT in Las Vegas. However, it is unknown if he was involved in the planning of the show or just visiting.
“WWE Superstar and former UFC fighter CM Punk is reportedly behind-the-scenes at the WWE NXT PLE tonight.”
Alongside CM Punk, TNA legend Gail Kim and important personnel from the management of the company were also said to be in attendance as part of WWE’s ongoing collaboration with the wrestling giant.
While CM Punk is known to visit important WWE shows in recent memory, it is yet to be known if that was the case or if Punk was down in Vegas for business with NXT.
