X-Pac, known for his wrestling prowess, has transitioned his attention away from the squared circle toward other ventures. However, a recent hacking incident highlighted the potential dangers of social media in today’s digital landscape.
The rise of social media platforms has offered wrestlers unparalleled avenues to engage with their fan base. However, it has also introduced the risk of scams and hacking incidents, highlighting the need for heightened vigilance in navigating the digital realm.
In case you didn’t know, X-Pac’s Twitter account recently became a target of hacking, evident from a stream of unauthorized tweets promoting a cryptocurrency named $WALTMAN. These tweets, filled with cryptocurrency details and pledges of financial benefits, starkly contrasted with X-Pac’s typical online behavior.
The former nWo member took to Twitter and confirmed that he gained access to his Twitter account. Waltman admitted that he fell for a scam in his DMs saying he had copyright claims against his account.
”I have control of my account back. I wish I could say I was hacked, but I fell for a scam in my DMs saying I had copyright claims against my account.”
It is certainly good to see that X-Pac got his account back soon and fans hope his Twitter account never gets compromised again, as it was definitely a distressing situation for the legendary professional wrestler.
