Speculation on WWE Trying to ‘Steal’ Jordynne Grace

TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace made her shocking appearance on the May 28th edition of NXT, and she then had a successful in-ring debut during the June 4th edition of the show. With that said, the possibility of WWE trying to steal her has been revealed.

The TNA Knockouts Champion also achieved victory over Stevie Turner during the June 4th NXT episode. Fans were definitely happy to see her on NXT television but some feel WWE might try to sign her.

The speculation surrounding the future of Jordynne Grace within WWE has intensified, especially given WWE’s apparent interest in her. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson weighed in on the matter during a Q&A session, suggesting that while WWE may not necessarily “steal” her from TNA, there could be a collaborative effort between the two promotions that might eventually lead to Grace joining WWE on a full-time basis, either at the end of her contract or possibly even sooner.

Johnson also mentioned the possibility of WWE making an offer to buy out Grace’s contract from TNA. This tactic is not uncommon in the wrestling industry, particularly when a promotion is interested in acquiring talent from another company.

“I don’t think they’re going to steal her but I do believe that there may be a concerted effort between the two sides that likely will lead to Grace landing full-time in WWE at the end of her contract, if not sooner. It is entirely possible that WWE could make an offer to buy out her contract.”

Grace’s contract is reportedly set to expire in the first quarter of 2025, which leaves open the possibility of her continuing to work with both promotions or exclusively with TNA until her contract concludes. After that, she could negotiate a transition to WWE, so we’ll have to see what she will do in the end.
