Ava’s In-Ring Return Status After Assuming WWE NXT General Manager Role

Ava has been part of the NXT family for a few years now and lately, she has been performing her role as the NXT General Manager. However, she used to compete in the ring and fans wonder if she will compete again and now have an update in that regard.

Ava used to be associated with the faction SCHISM, but eventually shifted into a managerial position following the group’s disbandment in October last year. Clearly, things changed for her after that as well.

Ava became the NXT General Manager back in January this year and has been portraying her role well. During Q&A podcast on Fightful Select, Corey Brennan was asked about Ava returning to the ring again someday.

Corey Brennan noted that there are no plans for Ava to wrestle at the moment but she is someone who is similar to Nick Aldis in the sense that if the storyline demands it, she will wrestle and it was added that she is still training while being the NXT General Manager.

”For now there are no plans for her to wrestle but I do think she’s definitely someone who is a lot like Nick Aldis in the case that if there is ever if there’s a time where it makes storyline sense, I think she will. I know that she’s continuing to train in the background as she is GM.”

We will have to wait and see when Ava will end up competing inside the squared circle, as fans weren’t all that enthusiastic about her in-ring capabilities the last time she wrestled.
