Under Tony Khan’s leadership, AEW has forged a significant partnership with Warner Bros. Discover for programming. Khan has been actively engaged in ensuring that AEW’s content aligns with the standards and expectations set by WBD. This close collaboration has sparked speculation about the potential for a more substantial media rights deal between the two entities. While their negotiations continue, WBD’s reaction to AEW Dynamite’s recent ratings has been revealed.

Warner Bros Discovery has proudly served as the home of All Elite Wrestling, broadcasting popular shows such as Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. The exclusive partnership between AEW and Warner Bros Discovery has been so significant that it resulted in the discontinuation of AEW Dark on YouTube.

For the past few weeks, AEW Dynamite has been showing an increase in ratings, with the June 5th episode garnering 790,000 viewers and 0.28 in the 18-49 demographic.

According to PWInsider, AEW President Tony Khan was a speaker at the Activate Conference in Santa Barbara, CA, earlier this week. He participated in a panel discussion alongside a Warner Bros. Discovery Board Member.

A source from WBD has expressed that they are very pleased with the recent performance of AEW Dynamite. The show’s audience, demographic, and ratings have seen a consistent rise over the past four weeks, which has been positively received by WBD.

”We are told by a WBD source that they have been very happy seeing Dynamite’s audience, demo and rating rising every week over the last four weeks.”

It was recently reported that the media rights deal between AEW and Warner Bros Discovery is estimated to be considerably more than $110 million per year. We’ll have to wait and see what kind of deal the parties will ultimately reach.
