Since its inception in 2019, AEW has been on a long journey and there’s been a lot of growing pains. Tony Khan books every single show and has drawn criticism for his booking now but even then, Khan has made it clear he books wrestling for a select audience.

For many fans, AEW’s biggest issue lies with the fact that matches are just thrown together without any rhyme or reason just for the sake of having matches on the card lately.

Tony Khan recently took to social media to announce several matches for AEW Collision and AEW Dynamite. In response to criticisms about his booking style, particularly regarding “random” dream matches, Khan offered a candid and straightforward response. He stated that he books for “sickos” because that’s who he is and who he cares about.

”I book wrestling for the sickos because that’s what I am and that’s who I care about. #AEWDynamite #AEWRampage #AEWCollision #ForbiddenDoor”

Despite all the negative discourse surrounding AEW, Tony Khan previously made it clear that AEW is very successful. Regardless, Khan will book AEW how he wants to and that’s all that matters.
