The Miz Determined to Elevate WWE Tag Team Division

The Miz is definitely one of the most established and decorated WWE Superstars in the history of the company. In addition to winning several championships in the company, The Miz knows his worth in WWE. With that said, The Miz also made it clear he wants to elevate talent in WWE.

The Miz has been a cornerstone of WWE programming for two decades, assuming various roles and accumulating numerous accolades. After all, he is one of the most versatile names in the company.

During an appearance on 96.5 KISS FM, Miz shared his thoughts on his current role in WWE, particularly as one-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions alongside R-Truth. The Miz made it clear his current role is to elevate the tag team division in WWE.

”I feel like I’ve done everything there is to do in WWE. Now, my job as the veteran of WWE, is to elevate whatever I’m doing. Right now, I’m the World Tag Team Champions with R-Truth. The idea is to elevate that title. I always say, the superstar makes the title, the title doesn’t make the superstar. In order to have the title, you need to elevate the division and elevate every person that gets in the ring with you, so when we’re there at SummerSlam and putting on that show, people are going to take away memories that are going to last a lifetime. They will see our titles be defended, I’m hoping. You never know what matches are going to happen at SummerSlam, but you know it’s going to make an impact.”

The Miz also guaranteed WrestleMania at Cleveland under one condition. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how The Miz will continue to be booked as the World Tag Team Champion alongside R-Truth.
