Natalya has been a mainstay of WWE’s women’s division since her debut in 2008, consistently maintaining a prominent presence throughout her tenure. However, her WWE contract is set to expire soon and it appears she hasn’t signed a new deal yet.
Natalya is someone WWE knows they can depend on to fulfil any role she is put to task, whether that’s as a heel, babyface or as mentor in NXT. With many contracts expiring this year, Natalya is now one of them.
We had already reported that Natalya is at a crossroads when it comes to her contract negotiations. She is ultimately weighing her options at the moment and there is no telling what she will do.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there have been no significant developments regarding Natalya, whose contract is set to expire soon. As her deal approaches its end, she has not yet signed the new contract that has been offered to her.
”Regarding Natalya, whose deal is up soon, nothing has changed. Her deal is coming due soon and she hasn’t signed the new offered deal.”
Natalya’s potential decision not to renew her contract would indeed be a significant loss, especially for NXT, where she has played a crucial role as a mentor to emerging talent. Her departure would undoubtedly leave a noticeable void, and fans will be eagerly awaiting news of her next career move.
