Ex-WWE Personality Believes Ricochet Can’t Draw Money for the Company

Ricochet is viewed as one of the best in-ring competitors in WWE and there is simply no doubt about his ability to entertain in the ring. With that said, a former WWE personality believes Ricochet can’t draw money for the company.

Ricochet is the current WWE Speed Champion and has been showing off his in-ring prowess in the 3-minute matches every week. Even then, there are many who feel Ricochet deserves to do more in WWE and that includes Will Ospreay.

While speaking on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell, the former WWE manager gave props to Ricochet’s in-ring abilities. However, Mantell stated that he believes Ricochet is simply incapable of drawing money for WWE.

“They’re not doing him a disservice. They’re giving him a job at a high-money price for him to go out there and do 10 minutes of high-flying. I don’t think, seriously, and this is not a knock on Ricochet, I don’t think you could draw a plug nickel with him. That’s an old saying. Because he can’t talk.”

It is to be noted that Ricochet’s WWE contract is nearing expiration and that rival promotions are interested in him. It remains to be seen what Ricochet will do in the end, as he is a reliable member of the WWE roster right now.
